Hi, I’m Nate Monson — founder of Book It Bookkeeping & Payroll Services.

I live in upstate New York with my amazing wife, Alicia, and our spirited daughter, Callie. Family is everything to me, and building a business that supports other small business owners while giving me the flexibility to show up for mine is a big part of why I launched Book It.

I hold a Master of Business Administration from the University at Albany, and I’ve spent the past seven years working as a realtor. That experience taught me the value of clean, reliable financials — not just for making smart business decisions, but for sleeping better at night. Bookkeeping has always been one of those “behind-the-scenes” skills I loved, and turning it into a full-time business felt like a natural next step.

When I’m not reconciling accounts or running payroll, you’ll usually find me cooking up something new in the kitchen or watching whatever game is on (I’m a big sports fan). I built Book It to be approachable, trustworthy, and focused on giving business owners peace of mind.
